Missed Last Week...
Last week was so jam-packed that I completely forgot to update and send out a newsletter! Mrs. McEwen and I enjoyed getting to meet with most of you on Monday during conferences. If you were unable to attend or if you have not scheduled a conference yet, please email one or both of us to schedule one. We also had a blast on our field trip to Brenham on Tuesday! The kids enjoyed seeing Henry Ford's invention, the assembly line, in action! We also learned that Blue Bell employees are able to eat as much ice cream as they want! Yum! After Blue Bell, we headed over to Firemen's Park to ride the antique carousal, eat lunch, and play on the playground. We had the most beautiful weather on Tuesday!! There were many sleepy kids on the bus ride back to Creek View!
Library on Tuesday
The classes will go to the library on Tuesday this week to get new books. Please help your child remember to bring his/her books to school (library books should be coming to school every day though...not just on library days)!
Red Ribbon Week
Creek View's annual Red Ribbon Week is next week, October 27th through October 31st. Students learn about the dangers of drug use and how to say no to drugs and alcohol this week. Each day has a different theme and a different dress up, listed below!
